Business Development Representative
SERVPRO of Bend's Business Development Team is Expanding!
The Business Development Representative position will be responsible for promoting SERVPRO of Bend's Fire & Water Cleanup & Restoration services in assigned territory. Grow and develop customer base by utilizing a systematic process to identify new prospects and to routinely contact and follow-up with customers to ensure that their expectations are being communicated accurately. Conduct repetitive contact calls to build relationships and educate the customer on SERVPRO®. Monitor and follow-up on all assigned jobs ensuring customer needs are met.
General Accountabilities
Schedule and manage your daily customer activities.
Liaison with the Marketing Manager and General Manager on:
o General customer issues.
o Establishing short and long-term communication goals and objectives for the company to ensure
profitability of services.
o Retaining a top of mind awareness within the market.
Working closely with managers on developing and executing communication plans and programs.
Assist with planning and overseeing the organizational advertising and promotional activities.
Assisting the Managers with developing and overseeing public relations.
Fulfill other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your Manager.
Complete documentation and update tracking software as appropriate.
Participate in professional associations, provide Lunch-and-Learns, industry events, and promote continuing education (CE) courses.
Market company services through educational programs and association events to increase referrals by establishing relationships and professional credibility.
Complete Emergency Ready Profiles (ERPs) and discuss benefits of emergency event preparation.
Learn business operations and best practices specific to our industry.
Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
Ability to successfully complete a drug test subject to applicable law
Valid Oregon Driver's License
Required skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Motivated self-starter.
Excellent organizer and ability to multi task.
Ability to develop and foster long term working relationships across a diverse clientele.
