Alex Hodge Construction, Inc. is a growing construction company in the Central Oregon area specializing in Commercial and Heavy Civil excavation work. We are seeking to fill positions within the company that will be a part of our continued success. Position- Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator
Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial and public works projects
Must be proficient in the operation of all common excavation equipment including but not limited too- excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, backhoes, skid steers, off-road dump trucks. Ability to operate a motor grader is a plus
Knowledge in GPS machine control a plus
Good communication skills and punctuality is a must
Possess strong organizational skills and the motivation to operate in a clean professional mannerResponsibilities-
Daily start-up procedures of equipment
Daily maintenance of equipment including greasing, cleaning of filters, fueling and cleaning of cab
Communicate any damage or maintenance needs to supervisor
Conduct that represents the company in a safe and professional manner
Ability to work 8-12 hours a day, 5-6 days a week.
Maintain and ensure consistent and accurate field reporting including daily reports, extra work orders, safety logs, and incident reports. Be able to identify and track additional work beyond scope
Conduct self that represents the company in a safe and professional manner
Ability to work 8-12 hours a day, 5-6 days a week.Benefits-
