RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is immediately seeking to add a full time Data Engineer/Spark Developer to our existing Digital Transformation team in Corvallis, Oregon (OR) supporting cutting edge manufacturing telemetry end point data.

Summary:
The Spark Developer will be responsible for software development and automated solution test framework. This person will also be heavily involved in test suite development on the Print Big Data solution hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud.
Responsibilities:
Interest in learning & building cutting edge solutions with tools such as Apache Spark, Kafka, Scala, Python & more
Sprark Developer will bring a solution-oriented mindset to real world problem solving that involves data sets (unstructured & structured)
Building novel solutions with Data Engineering tools such as Databricks, PySpark, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience/understanding of software applications design tools/languages such as C, C#, Java & Python
Scala experience for functional programming
Understanding of testing, coding, and debugging experience in Spark, SQL
Understanding of design for software applications running on multiple types as Win32/.NET or Linux
Experience/Interest in working with cloud products such as the AWS Ecosystem
