RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an Industrial Printing Technical Trainer for our print technology R&D client in Corvallis, Oregon (OR).

Summary:
The Trainer will join a fast-paced team and will be highly integral in the training and development of our client's customer facing technical professionals and customer end users as well. There will be 25+% travel required for this Industrial Printing Technical Trainer position to deliver onsite customer training sessions across the Continental US. Ideal candidates will have zero travel restrictions as travel is a requirement for this role.

Essential Functions of the Industrial Printing Technical Trainer:
Industrial Printing Technical Trainer will support all activities surrounding the development and delivery of technical training as determined by management, including, but not limited to, technical training development and delivery in support of the Company Web Press solution
Obtain training content through research, investigation, interviews, and direct observation; Compile and integrate engineering notes, technical data and graphics into training materials to illustrate concepts and increase training usefulness
Industrial Printing Technical Trainer will adhere to established technical training conventions, such as the style sheets, style guides, company style conventions, etc., as mutually defined
Communicate project status to management

REQUIREMENTS:
4-year College degree or equivalent work experience; experience in book publishing a plus
5+ years' technical training experience
Experience creating self-service and instructor led course material
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to integrate and execute team-oriented and collaborative environment
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Strong customer service orientation
Leadership skills required to indirectly manage across functional teams
Extensive experience delivering training within a diverse corporate environment

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office suite
Familiarity in ILT tools such as Captivate 9, Storyline 2, Bookeo or Other relevant registration platforms
Experience reading and interpreting technical documentation

Desired/Plus:
A conceptual understanding of technical tests on industrial print machines
