We are looking for qualified applicants to join The Comfort Suites - A Gold Award winning Choice Hotel here in Albany!
We are seeking an energetic, motivated individual for our front desk team. A professional demeanor is required. The position is currently part time yet expandable in the coming months and salary is DOE.
Experience in the hotel industry is not necessary. We will be looking for someone who carries a genuine excitement in providing a warm, hospitable encounter with each customer. This position carries a requirement of availability for all shifts, including graveyard, weekends, and holidays. The following tasks will be included in employment expectations:
-Provide a welcoming environment for each of our guests, with a focus on personalizing their experience.
-Accurately process check-ins and check-outs in a prompt, courteous manner
-Handle cash and credit card transactions
-Go above and beyond to handle customer questions and special requests
-Enforce policies and procedures with guests.
-Work as a leader, and a team, with housekeeping and maintenance crews
-Handle group and long-stay reservations
-Respectful written and spoken communication
-Answering multi-line telephone system
-Record lost and found items and promptly contact guests
-Routinely patrol the property to ensure guest safety and security
-Ensure guest information is accurate and remains confidential
-Communicate tasks to fellow employees and provide follow up to ensure completion
