Activity Director - Conifer House
This is a full-time position. Conifer House is residential care community that provides assisted living and memory care in Corvallis, OR 97330.
Key Job Duties Are To: Plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Activity Department to assure that an ongoing program of activities is designed to meet the interests and wellbeing of each resident.
Responsibilities/Qualifications/Skillset:
Develop and distribute a monthly activities calendar and newsletter for residents and family members.
Coordinate and schedule outside vendors and presenters.
Create and perform activities that engage each resident is a must.
Participate in community event planning with the marketing staff.
Make routine visits to residents and participate in the development of resident care plans.
Plan, prepare and operate under the Activities budget.
Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment.
Some experience in a social or recreation programming is preferred, or similar experience working in a healthcare setting.
MUST be reliable/dependable
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
