Benco is hiring for two full time Assistant Program Coordinator (APC) positions.

The management duties would include helping the Program Coordinator with staff scheduling, training, and paperwork running errands in the community and for the program about 10 hours per week and working Direct Care shifts as scheduled about 30 hours per week.

The 1st Assistant Program Coordinator’s set schedule is Monday 3p-11p, Tuesday 2p-9p, Wednesday 5p-9p and Sunday 3p-11p = 27 hours per week. The 10 hours of management duties are flexed within the weekly schedule to total 37 hours per week.

The 2nd Assistant Program Coordinator’s set schedule is Tuesday 9:30a-7p and Wednesday (overnight) 2p-9:30a = 29 hours per week. The 11 hours of management duties are flexed within the weekly schedule to total 40 hour per week.

These are set schedules however the schedule may change temporarily to meet the needs of the program as needed.

A 3% raise is given at 6 months, 1 year, 1 ½ years, 2 years and annually thereafter until an employee reaches the cap on the wage scale. The Assistant Program Coordinator (APC) position starting wage is $12.95 hour and the scale goes to $24.09 hour. Starting wage depends on experience in the I/DD field.

Benco offers medical, vision and dental benefits to employees who work at least 30 regularly scheduled hours per week. Benco offers vacation benefits at one year of employment as long as the employee works at least 20 regularly scheduled hours per week. Benco offers paid sick time immediately upon hire. Benco also offers a 403b retirement plan if the employee works at least 10 regularly scheduled hours per week.

The applicant must be at least 18 and have two years of college and/or at least 6 months experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Some management/supervisory experience would be preferred. The applicant must have a valid driver's license and good driving record. The applicant must be able to pass a background check.
