Vacancy expired!

Come be part of the Acorn Family, at Acorn Dentistry for Kids, where we grow healthy smiles! We believe every child deserves to grow up healthy and confident in the way they look and the way they feel, and educate families to take control of their health. This a very values-driven business where people come first - both the patients and our team members.

TEAM PLAYERS WANTED who desire to be more effective and fulfilled in their work and personal relationships. Together, we help each other become our best selves.

We foster a positive work environment that truly feels like a family. Weekly gift cards drawings for posting Kudos to each other on our Kudos board; monthly team meetings where we all can optionally present what we are learning from reading a book in our Acorn library about team work, communication, and leadership; get "acoins" for being intentional in your work and for volunteer activities, which you can redeem for cool Acorn swag. We're having a blast over here!

I ensure a very positive work environment where assistants are treated with respect and your voice is heard. Everyone contributes to the well-being of the clinic, including fostering positive relationships between front and back office personnel. Drama and gossip at work will NOT be tolerated and will be addressed accordingly.

You must be an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, who is also Radiology Certified. Sealant certification is not required but if not, you will need to get certified as soon as possible. Be enthusiastic about working with kids and making dentistry fun. Must have a strong, independent work ethic as well as work well together as part of our team. Computer competency is required, as we operate digitally. We are fun, fast and make parents wish they could be seen at the office too!

I seek to empower assistants who want to use all their skills: coronal polishing, taking digital radiographs, patient/parent education, seating patients, pre-fitting stainless steel crowns, sealants, minor ortho wire-fitting/bending, etc.

Benefits also include fun activities with the team - retreats, pedicures, medical insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, paid holidays, quarterly profit share - in addition to goofing off all day with the patients!
