Conifer House is seeking an experienced RN.
JOB OVERVIEW:
The RN is to establish, promote and maintain systems at the community level relating to the role of the nurse. The RN will perform audits to determine that appropriate systems are in place, being used and being used correctly. The RN will educate management staff on the appropriate use and proper function of the nurse in the community, as described in the role of the nurse policy and procedure.
KNOWLEDGE EXPECTATIONS:
Must have a current Oregon RN license and have basic competencies and experience in nursing and providing care. Special emphasis will be placed on ability on assessment skills in determining resident health needs and determining possible potential health care concerns. He/She must be able to work effectively with others in teaching and training basic health care skills as they relate to Medication administration, alert charting, reviewing doctors orders, reviewing lab test results, managing changes of resident condition, reviewing incident reports, and all other aspects of Resident care. They must be able to work well with others of various cultures, ethnic and educational backgrounds, and to function with a high level of professionalism in working in a team setting.
