We are a small animal clinic in Albany looking for an energetic, highly motivated and self-directed individual, capable of both working independently as well as of being part of a team. The successful candidate must be friendly, with an outgoing disposition and compassionate demeanor, and have a commitment to our clients and hospitalized patients. The ability to multitask and attention to detail is required. Applicant must have good phone and interpersonal skills as well as an excellent work ethic (i.e. must be trustworthy, punctual, mature, and presentable). This position includes daily reception duties as well as veterinary assistant skills. All staff members are cross-trained and work very hard in a supportive atmosphere.
This is a full-time, permanent (non-student/not seasonal) position consisting of 4 days per week, which will include some Saturday shifts. Relevant veterinary experience and/or education is preferred, but not required for the right applicant.
