We are seeking a skilled and experienced production worker in Brownsville to carry out various tasks in a busy warehouse. The production worker will be responsible for preparing bags of pellets for shipment by operating various packaging line equipment and drive forklift and reporting any issues with equipment directly to the maintenance supervisors.
Duties and Responsibilities
Stack finished 40 pound bags of pellets onto a pallet using a conveyor and air table.
Conduct quality checks on each bag to ensure a solid side and top seal.
Using an auto stretch wrapper to place cover over fully stacked pallet, staple each corner.
Using a forklift to drive the finished pallet of pellets to the stacking area.
Stack pallets neatly 3 layers high using caul boards between layers
Complete daily packaging and quality control sheets detailing the dust weight every two hours.
Skills and Qualifications
Ability to maneuver 40lbs bags on a regular basis
At least 6 months of prior production experience
Forklift experience preferred
Job Details
Night Schedule: Rotating 2-2-3 shift: 6:00pm to 6:30am
Will train on Day shift
