We are hiring for a locally owned and operated client in Harrisburg, OR. This Client has been in business sine 1979, Doing custom finishing panels for cabinets, signs, cargo liners, construction components, warehouse decks, siding and specialty products. This manufacturing company is looking for general production laborers! This is a full-time, permanent position with a 90 day evaluation period. This company takes pride in providing a positive and team oriented work environment! Work is very repetitive and monotonous but job duties will sometimes vary. Upon hire the company has benefits, paid vacations, sick time and Holidays. Also 401k with 10% matches. Bonus' available annually.
Associate will receive client-specific Safety Training/Orientation first day on-site. To include tour of facility, location of necessary information (i.e.; exits, emergency action plan/map, location of MSDS, etc) who to contact in case of emergencies, proper use & storage of PPE. Appropriate work practices for production and safety purposes. Potential risks and how to minimize/respond to.
Core Responsibilities:
Mill clean up and labor duties as assigned
Strong hand-eye coordination
Qualifications:
Must be able to read a tape measure/perform basic math (adding and subtracting, counting) and know the difference between sizes of product.
Ability to Lifting 20-30 lbs regularly
Compensation: $12.00 - $12.50
Employment type: full-time
Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday
Attributes and Skills desired in applicant:
computer knowledge, data entry, math, people, phone and reception skills. Accuracy and attention paid to details are essential, filing and organizational skills, needs to be able to multi task and work well within a teamwork environment. Must have the initiative to keep busy, contribute to a clean work environment, have good communication skills and possess effective problem solving and decision-making skills.
