Position: Donor Data Technician (member of the Public Relations Fund Development Team - PRFD)

Location: Monmouth, OR
Type of Position: Regularly Schedule, Full-time 35+hr/wk, hourly. Will include occasional evenings and weekends
Starting Wage/Benefits: $15.50-$17.25/hour (future increases as available) Benefits include Paid Leave, Health, Vision, Dental, Life, Retirement
Education Requirements: High school diploma/GED required. Certificate, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
Experience Requirements: Experience with donor development CRM platforms and nonprofit fundraising processes.
Preference will be given to candidates who have prior experience in the field of developmental/intellectual disabilities or in a related field.

Description & Details: A successful Donor Database Technician is well-versed in PCL’s management of all public relations and donor data tracking systems. They are integral to PRFD, must be extremely detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple and competing priorities. They have not only a task-oriented focus but, as well, find and take advantage of teaching moments and opportunities to build relationships. Along with the technical aspects of this position, the Donor Database Technician will always keep PCL’s Mission and Values front and center, and will always maintain a deep, compassionate understanding of the people PCL supports.
The work would entail: updating the donor database with the continual flow of donation information and donor contacts; newsletter development; making sponsor contacts and updating sponsorship development database; updating website with event information; event support.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Pass a State/Federal Criminal History Check
Pre-employment drug screening (for the use of illegal drugs in Oregon)
Background screening including employment and education history
Valid ODL with an insurable driving record
Adherence to PCL’s Mission and Values, Ethical Guidelines, Playbook Attributes, and Standards of Conduct
Consistent, professional dress and manner
Regular and dependable attendance
High-level writing skills including composition, usage, grammar, spelling, and punctuation
Competent in Microsoft and Google applications
Excellent organizational and planning skills, careful attention to detail and accuracy, and commitment to project timelines
Communicate graciously, clearly, and responsibly with donors, business leaders, PCL family members, colleagues, and any/all other PCL stakeholders
Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and ethical behavior
Duties and Responsibilities:
Represent PCL professionally, consistently, and with deep brand awareness in all written and spoken communication, both externally and internally
Devotion to extreme accuracy of all donor data entry and recordkeeping procedures and protocols, as well as to maintaining the absolute privacy and safety of donor records
Be an active and supportive member of PCL, e.g., follow through on commitments, meet deadlines, communicate in a positive manner, and attend all meetings as scheduled
Identify where changes are needed, problem-solve and initiate a process to address these issues
Be fiscally responsible for any assigned budgets
Database, website, and spreadsheet management for fundraising and events
Software/Cloud support, donor CRM applications
Donation engagement and sponsorship procurement - under the direction of the Department Director
Event support, under the delegated authority of the Department Director
Assist in developing and editing PR documents
Grant-writing
