Our Planned & Crisis Respite Care is a unique program in which providers can provide temporary foster care to children on the weekends in Lincoln, Benton & Linn counties!
Morrison Child and Family Services has a wonderful part-time program, Planned and Crisis Respite Care (PCRC). This support program is designed to help families (foster, adoptive, and biological) get the break they so desperately need and deserve. By opening your home for a weekend to give a child a break from their normal routine, you allow both the child and their primary care giver a chance to rest up and reset.

About Morrison Foster Care:
Over 70 years of experience serving Oregon children & families.
We train you and provide the skill set needed at no cost to you.
We offer 24/7 on-call support
We offer trainings and support groups for foster parents once certified.
Program Prerequisites:
Must have an open/unused bedroom for foster child.
Must be 25 or older.
Should not be pregnant, caring for an infant at home, or caring for anyone with high needs in your home.
Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and no more than 3 moving violations in the past year or a DUI in the past 5 years.
Cannot be certified as a foster parent through another organization.
Must be clean and sober for the past 5 years.
Must live in Lincoln, Benton, Linn counties, or Portland Metro Area.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must have enough income to support current living situation.
If you have a spouse/partner living in your home, they must become certified as well.
