Must have experience estimating Small/Med Commercial New Construction and T.I.
- Commercial New construction and Tenant Improvements
- Residential New Construction and Remodeling
Qualifications
- Experience with MS Office and use of Excel based spreadsheets is a must
- Experience identifying opportunities using web based sites i.e. EBE, BXWA, Contractor Plan Center, CMD Leads, etc.
- Experience soliciting sub contractor bids using the above networks
- Must be able to read and interpret blue prints and spec books
- Understand the project and its requirements
- Determine key variables for cost estimating
- Perform site walks and gather first-hand information from job sites or other venues
- Conduct research to obtain data
- Obtain and review offers and quotes by subcontractors or vendors
- Create and submit estimate reports or bids to management for review
- Familiarity with financial and project management principles
- Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
- Thoroughness and reliability
- Excellent organizational skills
Must be able to pass drug screen and back ground check
