Equilibrium Painting LLC is quickly growing, and we are hiring for multiple painting positions.
Equilibrium Painting is a sustainable 'green' painting company who cares about the health of our employees, our customers and the environment. We recently won 2018 Sustainable Business of the Year through Celebrate Corvallis and have a full schedule booked this summer and into next years exterior season in the Corvallis/Albany and Eugene/Springfield Areas. Journeyman/Head Painters with Crew Lead Experience: Must have 5 years of experience or more in all aspects of interior and exterior painting including prep work (e.g. taping, paper/plastic, scraping, caulking, wall repair); must have experience and feel comfortable on high ladders, roofs and lifts and using safety precautions; must be comfortable working in exterior weather conditions including full sun and cold mornings or inside customers homes quietly and respectfully; must have experience with hand precision cut-in; must have experience with using a sprayer, rolling and brushing; experience with texturing or some carpentry skills is preferred (but not required); must have crew lead experience and the patience and willingness to train painters to their fullest potential; must be able to move quickly in tight timelines; must be professional, friendly and have exceptional customer service skills; must be willing to continually learn and increase skills in the trade including learning how to paint and prep for a sustainable 'green' painting company and must receive EPA lead training at companies expense and follow procedures on job sites.
Mid-Level Painters: Must have 2 years or more painting experience in all aspects of painting including: rolling, brushing, and spraying; all aspects of prep work including taping, plastic & paper coverings, scraping and caulking; must have experience and feel comfortable on high ladders, roofs and lifts; must be comfortable working in exterior weather conditions including full sun and cold mornings or inside customers homes quietly and respectfully; must be professional, friendly and polite; must be able to work fast under tight deadline; must be willing to learn and continually increase painting knowledge including learning how to paint and prep for a sustainable 'green' painting company.
Painters Apprentice: Prior painting experience preferred, including rolling and brushing, taping, plastic/paper coverings, scraping and caulking; must have experience and feel comfortable with heights and on high ladders and roofs; must be comfortable working in exterior weather conditions including full sun and cold mornings or inside customers homes quietly and respectfully; must be professional, friendly and polite; must be able to work fast under tight deadline; must be willing to learn and continually increase painting knowledge including learning how to paint and prep for a sustainable 'green' painting company.
