We are seeking career oriented individuals with long-term goals. G. Christianson Construction is a family based business that cares about our employees. We are looking for a person who has a desire to learn all aspects and phases of construction, and who is hard-working.
JOB DUTIES
- Work with a group of employees in the field to profitable success on individual projects
- Job requires heavy lifting on occasion, climbing ladders, kneeling, bending, and strenuous
physical activity at times
- Work with contractor's team, vendors, inspectors and subcontractors on projects
- Follow all company guidelines for safety and performance
- Work with customers on site, developing a trusting relationship with a home/property owner
- Respond to occasional emergency calls for repairs and service on nights and weekends
- Work at multiple sites on a WIDE variety of projects.
REQUIREMENTS
- Some, basic knowledge of construction techniques. Pay is dependent on
experience. If you want to WORK HARD, we will work with you.
- Excellent references
- Own basic hand tools (hammer, carpentry apron) and a reliable vehicle to transport tools
and building materials to jobsites
- A reliable vehicle to travel to and between job sites.
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a DRUG SCREENING. (we test for all recreational drugs, including pot)
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check

- Hourly rate $15-$19 commensurate with your skills and experience (carpenters will be considered for additional pay DOE)
- Part-time or full-time depending on your experience
AN IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
- Have some experience in remodel or construction work.
- Be able to successfully work with other employees in the field at various job sites
- Deliver superior craftsmanship to complete the work within the time budget allotted
- Show interest in construction techniques and construction science (i.e., passive house, net-zero,
green building, advanced framing)
- Have DRIVE and DESIRE to get the project done well and without delay
- Be an excellent communicator
o With Customers: Be kind, positive, and show a desire to move the project forward while
being attentive to their needs.
o With Superintendents: Communicate problems immediately in a forthright manner. Inform
project superintendent of changes to schedule or plans.
- Keep track of to-do lists for jobs, have attention to detail.
