We are seeking a Dentist to work full time our dental office located in Baker City, Oregon.
This position is responsible for provide dental care related to the teeth, gums and mouth and improve oral health for patients. Dentists' oversight of the clinical team is critical to ensuring safe and effective oral care including routine procedures such as tooth extractions, preparing and placing fillings or administering anesthetics carry potential risks of complications such as infection, temporary or even permanent nerve damage, prolonged bleeding, hematomas and pain. The dentist ensures continued viability and success in accessing and treating, providing a positive experience in addressing their oral care needs.

Primary Functions:
1. Provide comprehensive dental services to patients
2. Prioritize the patients needs and treatment planning while educating the patient
3. Diagnosing oral diseases
4. Promoting oral health and disease prevention.
5. Creating treatment plans to maintain or restore the oral health of their patients.
6. Interpreting x-rays and diagnostic tests.
7. Ensuring the safe administration of anesthetics.
8. Monitoring growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
9. Performing surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
10.Perform duties and responsibilities managing a dental office to include, not only treating the patient, but maintaining patient records, personnel and practice management, and dental equipment maintenance
11.Share in after hours on-call responsibilities as needed
Required Skills
1. Licensed Dentist within the State of Oregon
2. Nitrous endorsement
3. Strong patient management skills
4. Demonstrated management and leadership skills
5. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
6. Computer proficiency with dental practice management software
7. Must have strong decision making skills
8. Ability to work with frequent interruptions in a fast paced clinic environment
9. Ability to maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image
10. General Practice Residency or equivalent experience working with complex patient care a plus
11. Spanish skills a plus
12. Participate effectively as a team player
