Duties:

Camp Properties Manager shall work under the supervision of the Board of Directors.

Will provide monthly written reports to the Board of Directors on activities and concerns relating to the property.

Attend bi-monthly meetings of the Board of Directors.

Provide more frequent reports as situations dictate.

Will use computers, email, and working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.

Will manage the total camping facility including the support services, in such way as to make them responsive to the needs of the campers and within the financial resources available and set polices. Will work with other designated personnel in preparing and operating the camp for annual speech and hearing sessions and as the liaison for rental groups.

Must live on site in provided living quarters (housing and utilities are part of compensation).

Will be responsible for the security at the camp site, including properties and facilities (approx. 100 acres).

Promote camp site events.

Administer finances of the camp properties within budget guidelines and in light of income

Ability to operate heavy equipment-tractor, cat, etc.

Must have valid driver's license and good driving record.

Must have maintenance abilities and training for repairs on equipment, plumbing, electrical and carpentry.

Exhibit good interpersonal skills to deal with co-workers, camp users, neighbors and volunteers.

Will see that all policies are maintained, as published in all company manuals.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, county and local regulations

Maintain all required records.

CPR and First aid certification preferred.

Willing to accept other duties as assigned.

Maintenance Responsibilities:

See that camp facilities and equipment are maintained in good working condition within budget. That facilities and equipment are functional and supportive of program needs. Develop maintenance and replacement records. Maintain camp inventory records. Maintain camp accessibility year round, including snow removal and road maintenance.
