Michaels Messenger Service, the Northwests fastest growing premier same day small parcel courier service, is seeking experienced, career-oriented dispatchers familiar with high volume order management to join our fast-paced dispatch team. This is a remote position available in La Grande, Oregon.
MMS operates 24/7/365. We handle on demand STAT and routed work daily and nightly for a variety of clients. MUST have a valid driver's license.
Compensation starts at $12/hr and in addition includes a bonus incentive program when performance and financial targets are met!. Your productivity, attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, time management skills, efficiency and influence over cost controls will dictate your future wage after 30 days and beyond. Full medical and dental health benefits offered after 60 days of successful employment.

Job Duties:
Develop efficient routes to ensure that deliveries are made in a timely fashion
Maintain contact with drivers throughout their shifts and address any routing issues they might have
Monitor road conditions, construction zones, and accidents in order to revise routes as needed
Update customers on the status of their deliveries including any delays that occur
Answer calls from delivery drivers and relay any emergencies they have to the appropriate channels
Other duties as requested
