Clarke's Sheet Metal, Inc. is an established manufacturing company founded in 1952. Our steel fabrication facility utilizes a CNC plasma burn table, press brakes, plate and structural steel rolls, saws, iron workers and a machine shop. The equipment, which is manufactured, is used primarily for the collection, handling and storage of wood by-products. The majority of the equipment is sold to primary and secondary wood product manufacturers.
Job Summary
Provide accounting and clerical support by serving as primary receptionist, administering accounts receivable, collections, and performing varied administrative functions. Position will also backup accounts payable.
Main Responsibilities:
Answer phones
Greet customers and visitors
Post daily payments, checks, cash, EFTs
Process sales order documentation for review
Invoice customers once orders are approved
Weekly review of AR aged reports and make follow-up calls for past due invoices
Maintain customer files
General administrative responsibilities (as necessary)
Backup accounts payable
Qualifications and Requirements
Associates degree desired
2 years of experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience
Sage 100 experience a plus
