Sales Team Member Position
Compensation: Hourly plus bonus (DOE)
Employment type: full-time
Prior experience in the bicycle industry is a must. Applications will not be considered without at least a year experience and detailed knowledge of bicycles.
Located in Eugene, we are a family owned bicycle manufacturing company that hand builds our high performance folding and travel bikes to ship world wide. We are looking for the right person to join our sales/consulting team. This is a rare opportunity to help sell high quality bikes that are hand made in the same building you are.
Here is what our dream candidate for this position will be like:
1. You are internally motivated and organized toward setting and accomplishing goals.
2. You love to help people find what they want and need in a product you believe in by creating a relationship built on your knowledge, insight and honesty.
3. Your passion is cycling. You have a variety of cycling experiences and understand the soulful, personal growth impact cycling can have on an individual, and the unique connection cyclists develop with their bicycles.
4. You understand the components on a bicycle, the differences, and the benefits of each, and can help design groups that will deliver the ultimate performance for any cycling need.
5.You are a really nice person with a sense of humor, a service attitude, and work well in a team setting.
6. You are comfortable on the phone (we do most sales by phone and email) and with a computer database dealing with lots of detail information and keep good notes.
7. You enjoy learning new things and would be interested in helping out in other area’s of the company on occasion.
