Certified In-Home childcare and Preschool looking for a qualified Teacher to support staff and children in daily activities and duties. Hours will be 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. M-F with opportunity to work some afternoon shifts.
Teacher will need to have:
- Central Background Check Completed
- Infant and Child First Aid and CPR certification
- Food Handlers Card
- Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse Certificate
- Register with ORO (Oregon Registry Online)
- Complete OCC approved health & safety training within 30 days of employment
Duties will include, but are NOT LIMITED TO:
- Assist with potty training and diapering.
- Interact with the children in a positive and age appropriate manner.
- Create a positive teacher/student relationship.
- Help to maintain a neat and organized classroom.
- Childcare laundry.
- Prepare and serve USDA qualified meals.
- Clean and sanitize children's areas of use.
- Report supplies needed to the Lead Teacher.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings / training.
- Some child transporting required
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 40 lbs.
Repetitive bending, stretching, and stooping
Have mobility required to ensure the safety of the children
Work with children on the floor
Work outdoors in any variety of weather
