DescriptionJennie Joiner with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is looking for practical Accounting Manager candidates with a knack for establishing and regulating an organization's accounting and finance procedures. In this position, you will feel appreciated in your day-to-day work and be rewarded for your efforts. To succeed in this Accounting Manager role with a burgeoning, innovative Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance company, you will need to take charge of daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts owned by Senior Accountant
Team up with FP&A and accounting management to develop relevant, timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Play a key role in system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration of NetSuite Financials
Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Assemble various technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses
Possess a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Ensure close deadlines are met by encouraging and managing the accounting team performance during the closing process

Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
Recent relevant financial experience
Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
Microsoft Excel experience
Financial reporting experience
Proficiency in Corporate Internal Audit
Supervising experience
Expertise in Financial Oversight
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
