Attune Foods LLC, a subsidiary of 8th Avenue Food and Provisions, is proudly located in the Pacific Northwest in beautiful Eugene, Oregon.The Production Lead is responsible for coordinating line workers’ activities; to ensure their assigned production goals are met in compliance with all quality and safety SOPs and cGMPs. The successful candidate will monitor/manage/maintain equipment, crew and packaging operator processes to ensure compliance to GMP’s and safety standards. The Production Lead will also manage production processes to ensure to “Best in Class” production standards and meet goals.The ideal candidate will also have strong interpersonal, communication, teamwork, time management and organizational skills, will be highly motivated, self-directed and accountable, and will have the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff across the organization.If you're looking for a career in an exciting company poised for growth, as an active and participating member of a cohesive and dynamic team, then this may be the opportunity for you! We currently have a 3rd shift position available.Job duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
Coordinate with supervisor and other Leads on an as needed basis to establish schedules, job assignments and production sequences to meet production goals.
Monitor/manage/maintain equipment, crew and packaging operator processes to ensure compliance to GMP’s and safety standards.
Manage production processes to ensure to “Best in Class” production standards and meet goals
Communicate with other departments (QA, Maintenance, Sanitation, etc.) as necessary.
Confer with Supervisor to resolve employee issues and take appropriate action.
Must be available to attend training seminars/classes as needed.
Deliver, conduct, coordinate training activities within the department.
Deliver and manage work assignments of crew members.
Coordinate break rotation schedules in a timely manner that complies with labor laws, and maintains production flow.
Communicate all applicable line production information to following Lead/Supervisor in shift-change hand-off to ensure smooth transition.
Continually inspect raw materials and finished goods to ensure safe, quality food of the highest standard.
Monitor/Operate equipment to meet or exceed standard raw and packaging material scrap and production rates.
Ensure all quality checks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure all samples are collected and delivered to QA as instructed in each batch ticket.
Continually monitor processes and finished goods to ensure all is within specification, so as to catch & resolve any error or malfunction as soon as possible and prevent waste.
Replenish supplies, and ensure proper tools are available to crew to support efficient production.
Aid in the resolution of any machine malfunction or processing error to resume/continue efficient production of safe, quality product.
Monitor and verify all reporting and tracking is complete and timely, to ensure proper traceability throughout production processes.
Keep work area clean and free from hazards.
Communicate ANY hazards, and/or pest sighting to appropriate department for a timely resolution.
Production data entry, via computer
Ensure the performance reports are filled out accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure all items on the line shadow boards are intact and accounted for.
Be available to do allergen swab testing on other lines as needed.

Exposure to dust, noise, heat and moving machinery.
Will work in areas with fluctuating temperature extremes as well as areas that will be wet.
Required uniform includes hairnet and/or beard guard, safety shoes, and company issued uniform.
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 50 pounds
Work on a cement, sometimes wet, floor
Stand for long periods of time
Minimum Qualifications:
1+ year experience in a manufacturing production environment
Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills
Must be able to attend work on a regular and reliable basis
Must be punctual and available to work overtime and weekends upon request.
Operate manual and electric pallet jacks, and walkie-stacker
ATP Testing certified
