Our busy gastropub is looking for an experienced professional Line Cook who can prepare meals in accordance to our standardized recipes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely creation of standard portion menu items, food preparation in accordance to company standards, cleanliness of work and storage areas, and the interaction with established systems to ensure a high level of work efficiency.
Qualifications:
4+ years of professional cooking experience
Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more a day
High level of professionalism
Comfortable working independently and with a team in a fast-paced demanding kitchen environment
Excellent verbal communication and organization skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time on a regular basis
