Compassionate caregiver needed for elderly female Parkinson's patient.
She is in the advanced stages and is mostly bed bound.
Things we require :
Able bodied and aware of proper body mechanics
Reliable transportation
Understanding and the ability to shift style of care as client requests
Have had 2+yrs experience in the care field
Ability to keep religious/personal opinions to yourself
If you have had prior experience/knowledge with movement disorders will go to the top of hiring list.
This client is in her own home and wanting to be able to comfortably finish out her years. We are beyond the point getting better and focusing purely on her wants and needs are top priority.
Pretty easy going job overall. Physical needs are mainly roll changes in bed and adjusting which we have the proper equipment and slide sheets that need to be used period !
We currently have 5 caregivers working about 18hrs/7 days a week.
There is a care manager that is available to help with scheduling , vacations etc. Basically the needs of the employees and the client are always strived to be met and usually are .
Okay on the the shifts needed .
If you are able to take on some of the shifts and not all of them that's okay
Rotating weekends from day shift to night
Saturday and Sunday.
One weekend is 1 pm to 10 pm then the following weekend is 9 pm - 7 am and continues to repeat just like that .
Wednesday mornings 6 am - 8 am
This shift is able to slightly move start/ finish time if needed .
Wednesday and Thursday night
10 pm - 2:30am employee is able to leave earlier if everything in completed and client sleeping .
Again not one single person has to be able to take these . We understand these are left over hours and would work great for someone wanting to fit in a few work hours from their main job .
Also there is almost always multiple shifts wanting to be covered each month. So far we haven't had any issues giving people time off or swapping shifts to accommodate a need.

The pay to start is $17/hr.
This is private pay client so once you are paid it's up to you however you want to deal with it from there . There will NEVER be a 1099 to file from the client .
There is a little room to have raises as time goes one but there is a cap seeing as care is not cheap and running outta money means we loose the job .
