We are in search for compassionate, energetic, and motivated caregivers that will assist our residents with all of Activities of Daily Living; dressing, bathing, dining assistance, personal hygiene, laundry, and activities intended to maintain and or improve quality of life.
Successful applicant must be very caring, dependable, team player, patient, great attendance, self-motivating, and able to follow directions. Must be at least 18 and be able to pass a background check and drug test. Prior experience is encouraged, but not required. Training will be provided.
Essential Functions:
Assist residents with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) i.e., dressing/undressing, dental care, bath functions, shaving, bowel and bladder functions, hair and nail care, daily perineal care, prepare and give enemas.
Prepare residents for mealstake to and from dining room
Serve food trays.
Serve between meal and bedtime snacks
Make beds (occupied and unoccupied)
Change bed linens
Assist with lifting/turning, moving, positioning and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc. using gait belts as instructed and mechanical lifts as instructed
Assist in transporting residents for activity and social programs
Record all entries on daily log, notes, charts, incident reports etc., in an informative and descriptive manner.
Use only authorized abbreviations established by this facility when recording information.
Report all changes in the resident's condition, accidents & incidents to the Administrator and/or Nurse as soon as practical.
Attend and participate in scheduled training and educational classes
Shifts Available: Days (6:30a-2:30p), Eve (2:30p to 10:30p) or NOC (10:30p-6:30a) 30 hours a week or maybe more.
