Hale Men's Clinic in Eugene, Oregon is looking for an MA or LPN with a passion for providing healthcare specifically to male patients using a patient-centered approach. An individual who has a positive, upbeat disposition and has excellent customer service skills is required! Attention to detail and being able to work independently is a must. This opportunity would allow you to learn, grow professionally and be part of an emerging, exciting new concept in healthcare. Our culture is fast paced and fun our patients are typically healthy and without complicated medical problems. We currently have over 200 patients that are on weekly therapy! Some of the responsibilities of this role are:
Schedule patients and answer incoming calls
Take patient vitals: weight, blood pressure, hematocrit
Administer weekly injections of multiple medications in accordance with doctor’s treatment plan.
Draw serum labs, therapeutic phlebotomy
Chart patient care in EMR
Audit patient charts for MD visits and labs
Verify Insurance eligibility
Audit Billing: work closely with billing to make sure all charges are being captured
Check in and check out all patients in EMR
Collect payment at time of service
Establish and manage professional and personalized relationships with all patients
Patient retention & celebration of patient milestones: birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
Be able to speak intelligently to potential patients about Hale and the services we offer
Facility duties:
o Order office supplies: business cards, paper, ink, brochures, etc.
o Order medical supplies and medications
o Filing
o Light cleaning, organization, stocking supplies
