We are NOT a home care agency. This ad is for Private in-Home Care. If you are tired or being shuffled around from client to client and getting misinformation from the scheduler then this is the job for you.
We are looking for a professional, responsible caregiver to care for our father. The job position is for a 35 hr. per week caregiver for private in-home care. Dad is a sweet WWII vet and he lives in a clean and comfortable country home on acreage.

Responsibilities include:
- Personal care involving assistance with showering, dressing/undressing, grooming
- Catheter Care and toileting
- Medication assist
- Spotting while he is using his walker or maneuvering him in a transport chair
- Housekeeping, laundry, meal prep
- Companionship activities – puzzles, paints, games
- Transportation assistance, transferring into his vehicle for appointments
-Daily assisting with his medical team's planned Physical Therapy
-Logging his daily activities
Qualifications:
- Must be mature and responsible
- Must have ample experience as a caregiver performing all the above tasks
- Must have a good command of the English language to effectively communicate orally and writing in the daily log
- Must be able to take direction from the family manager on location and follow the current care plan for Dad
-Must be able to work in the home effectively while he has visiting family
Position is 35 hrs/wk Thursday through Monday 9:30 am – 6:30 pm with a 2 hr. lunch break between morning and evening shifts.
Starting at $16.00 hourly paid weekly (we use a Household Payroll Service with direct deposit).
We offer a 2 week trial period to assure it is a good fit for both you and Dad.
IMPORTANT: Please read before responding - Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Must speak English clearly. It is beneficial to live within 15 miles of the Eugene Airport with a dependable automobile. (We are not on a bus line).
