Part time job assisting active disabled man. Looking for non-smoking, amazing person with warm personality who is a quick learner and always ready to help out. Want someone who is positive, reliable and trustworthy.
I am 69, married and am a quadriplegic with Muscular Dystrophy. I am unable to walk or stand, have very little use of my arms. I have used a motorized wheelchair for almost 30 years. I have a tracheostomy and use a ventilator system 24/7. I also have a wheelchair accessible van with lift.
The job includes driving me to appointments, help shopping and running errands. I need help with house maintenance, seasonal yard work (especially spring and summer), house cleaning and organizing. Must be able to lift 50lbs and comfortable using tools. I also need assistance with range of motion exercise, and some personal care including using the restroom.
Need not have experience. I will explain what I need and then you become my muscles to get it done. And I do like to get things done. Look forward to working with you in a fun and constructive way to make that happen. Nice nonsmoking environment, lots of good conversation and music, progressive Covid conscious household, vaccination required.
Must have current drivers license, near perfect driving record and know how to drive defensively. Great job for right person. Great for student with morning classes.
