CSB Oregon (csboregon.org) is looking for reliable caregivers to provide one on one companionship to individuals with disabilities throughout the eugene/springfield area. Jobs may involve driving, personal care, exercise, getting them out in the community or helping them with chores around their homes. must be able to lift/transfer individuals. must clear background check and have clean driving record. must have car. we reimburse for mileage at .58/mile when using car for work. Medical insurance benefits available after 90 day probationary period to those working over 30 hrs/week.
The following direct care shifts/ positions are available.
Craig;
72 years old
Developmentally Disabled
Very easy-going, good sense of humor, no behavior issues
Moves slowly - uses walker full time (caregiver must be able to transport walker)
Enjoys getting out of apartment as much as possible (reliable car required)
Once a month full-day trip to coast or other destination (paid rental car optional)
Needs caregiver to help with (do):
Shopping (groceries and other supplies)
Cleaning apt – which Craig keeps neat and organized
Preparing meals (fresh and for the freezer)
Maintaining a positive attitude
