Hello everyone I am searching for reliable trustworthy caregivers. This is a PRIVATE RESIDENCE. We Are not a company.
Client is a quadriplegic (meaning he is paralyzed from the neck down) and needs your assistance at all times.
Right now we are in search of swing shift caregivers (part time)

1.VALID DRIVERS LICENSE (this is very important) Ive had quite a few people apply and end up not having a valid drivers license.
2.Must have reliable transportation.
Public transportation will not work for this position.
3.must be drug free And able to pass state mandated background check.
4.Starting pay is 12.50-14.50 an hour
Pay is based off performance and experience.
5.(this is not a requirement) but we would prefer that persons applying be 21+ but if you are not its ok do not let that stop you from applying for the position. Thankyou

Requirements
Must be flexible with hours. Must be open to travel. Back-up care. providing other caregivers a break
Personal supervision: providing constant companionship and general supervision
Emotional support: being a stable companion and supporter in all matters personal, health-related and emotional.
Mobility assistance: help with transferring in and out of a wheelchair, shower.
Must be able to use hoyer lift or have some knowledge on how to use one.
Assisting with personal care: bathing and grooming, dressing and exercise (stretching)
Basic food preparation: preparing meals, shopping, housekeeping, laundry, and other errands.
health care: overseeing medication and prescriptions usage, appointment reminders and administering medicine. (Very important) must be able to call nurse/pharmacist and ask for referrals. Prescription refills
Keeping up with supplies. (Medical supplies) call 1-800 number on board to order more.
Making dr appointments for Client if asked of you.
Transportation: driving to and from activities, running errands, and dr. Appointments.
Home organization: help with organizing. general house care and cleaning. Room must be swept and moped on the last day of your shift. Laundry put away Everything must be neat and orderly Before leaving.
Health. If you are noticing any changes in the individuals health. If you think might have a UTI call the nurse and ask for an order. Must be able to collect a urine sample and drop off at lab.
