Flaggers and Traffic Control personnel needed immediately. We currently employ approximately 50 flaggers, and have an immediate need to hire more. This is usually when we slow down, but we are still busy, and running out of flaggers every week, and still have jobs that have not yet started and need staffing.
We offer an ODOT certification class at least once every month, and we are actively hiring from it now. Our next class will be held on Thursday, February 7th at 1:00PM, and will last approximately 4 hours. Please email or call for details, to sign up for the class, or to apply for a job now if you are already certified, or with any questions. The cost for the class is $90 cash or check.
All applicants must be 18 years old and have a vehicle and valid drivers license and insurance. We need people that want to work, can handle on call hours, stand on their feet for long periods of time, deal with a variety of different people and personalities, and be able to get to jobs within the hour of our client calling us, and us dispatching you. That means you must have your own vehicle and driver's license, and live within a half hour radius of Eugene/Springfield.
Current pay starts at $13.00 per hour for the first 90 days, with the opportunity to make more if you are able and willing to set up jobs. Current average hourly pay for new hires that set up jobs is $16.30, and increases after 90 days. We do offer prevailing wage work which pays approximately $25.77 per hour, plus $13.82 per hour contributed directly into your retirement plan. While that work goes more to our people that have been with us for more than 90 days, almost every new hire gets some well before reaching 90 days of experience.
