Accepting Applications for 2019 Field Crew Positions
Seed to harvest experience. Be a part of a young farmer owned, small-scale operation where everyones energy counts. From the greenhouse, to the field, to the pack shedfield crew employees can expect to be immersed in the day to day aspects of organic vegetable production. Expect work to be varied, energetic, and dirty. Must be comfortable working alone or in a group, prepared to work in all weather conditions.
Full time, early mornings, long days. We start at sun-up and finish when the days tasks are complete. Peak season this sometimes means over 40hrs/week. Work schedule will include Sundays during peak harvest (July). Experience working on a farm a plus. Strong work ethic and a positive attitude are essential.
Farming is physically demanding production work. Applicants should consider their past experience/ability keeping focused and self-aware through long, strenuous, often repetitive tasks.
Position starts late immediately. Crew members are asked to make full season commitment. Season runs through Thanksgiving or early December.
