King Retail Solutions, a leading designer and manufacturer of retail decor, is seeking multiple Assemblers.This position is responsible for assembling products within specified timelines and in accordance with established standards by performing the following duties. The Assembler works from 6:30am-4pm Monday through Friday, and must have availability on Saturdays for overtime if needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assembles assigned product parts in accordance with production guidelines.
Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
Notifies management of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
Operates a safe work environment and keeps area neat and orderly, with materials and tools organized for efficient space utilization.
Performs other related duties or special projects as assigned.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; one or more years of work related experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Time management skills.
Ability to work independently, and follow directions, understand and interpret drawings, details, and written instructions.
Ability to operate basic hand and power tools,
Proficient at using a tape measure.
Detail oriented
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
