Farm Manager and Instructor
Veterans Legacy of Oregon (VLO) is accepting applications for a farm manager/agri-business instructor for full time employment at our Alma, OR Veterans Treatment Center. The position will involve bringing a large amount of equipment and materials to the site to be used in the growing of vegetables and fruit. The applicant will oversee all vegetable and fruit production (10,000+pounds annually) develop curriculum for program participants, supervise and instruct Veteran Clients of VLO in the basics of agriculture and farm management. The initial farm will be approximately 1 acre with the ability to expand in the future.
Preference will be given to Veteran applicants. Salary will be based on experience and the successful applicant will receive health and other benefits to be negotiated.
Camp Alma is located approximately 15 miles south west of Crow Oregon in the Coast range of mountains.
A detailed list of equipment to be brought to the Camp will be sent to interested applicants.
