ABOUT RISE:
Our mission is Creating Opportunities for & with People. RISE provides services for people with disabilities including residential settings, day programs, employment assistance, managed care, and hourly supports. The Direct Support Professional position is for an energetic person who will provide assistance to children, adolescents, adults, and elderly individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges.
Training is paid, and self paced. Training includes Oregon Intervention Systems (OIS), CPR/FA, Medication Administration, OSHA, and person-specific training.

JOB DUTIES:
Mentor, role model, and teach life skills.
Engagement with the community
Support with activities of daily living and achieving person-centered goals.
Provide life skills coaching: budgeting, shopping, cooking, organization, & social interactions.
Implement positive behavior supports: creating routines, taking breaks, positive phrasing.
Keep accurate and goal-oriented notes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Interest in serving others and working with people with disabilities
Willing and able to use personal vehicle to transport clients, with 1 year of clean driving experience
OR 3 years of clean driving experience to drive a RISE vehicle.
Ability to pass a background check/DMV Check
