Oregon Supported Living Program (OSLP) is looking for a Program Director to oversee operations of our 24 hour Residential Group Homes for Adults with Developmental Disabilities.
OSLP is the leader in Lane County in providing support to adults with developmental disabilities through a variety of services. Our programs include 18 group homes providing 24 hour support, a Supported Living Program, the Community Inclusion and Employment Department, and our groundbreaking Arts & Culture Program which provides a creative and integrated environment for those with an artistic interest.
As a Program Director, the successful candidate will have direct responsibility in providing complete oversight of multiple residential group homes.
Essential Job Functions include but not limited to the following:
Provide direct supervision of Program Managers and their teams.
Ensure programs our operated to the highest standard to ensure compliance with Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs), all OSHA standards, as well as internal OSLP standards.
Oversee the development, implementation, and training of Individual Support Plans (ISP), Behavior Support Plans (BSP), and all other support documents and protocols for the individuals supported in their programs.
Participate as a member of the OSLP Admin Team and assist in the planning and implementation of agency wide processes and initiatives aimed at improving the quality of services provided.
Act as the primary liaison between OSLP and Lane County DD Services, State of Oregon Office of DD Services, and various local DD Service Providers.
Conduct on-going site assessment reviews and assist in the relicensing of each program by the Office of Developmental Disabilities to ensure each program is meeting expected standards as set forth by the Office of Licensing.
Work with the Human Resource Department to address employee performance issues, training needs, and retention programs.
Provide emergency on-call support on a rotating basis with the Admin Team for all Programs.
Qualified candidates MUST possess the following:
Four to five years' experience providing support in a residential services program for people with developmental disabilities.
Previous experience in development and implementation of Individual Support/Treatment Plans.
Two to three years supervisory experience, performance management, and team building.
Knowledge of the Oregon Administrative Rules or similar rules used in other states governing the operations of residential services for people with developmental disabilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
At least three years as a licensed driver with a valid Oregon Drivers' License or the ability to obtain one and a driving record that will be deemed insurable by our insurance carrier.
Ability to pass a state mandated criminal background check.
Normal work hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm but will vary at times to accommodate meetings, site visits, and other appointments. Program Directors are also the Emergency On-Call Contact on a rotating basis (currently once every 5 weeks) Monday to Sunday 24/7 to provide support for emergent issues in the programs.
