Local hardware store specializing in industrial and commercial customers, is looking for a reliable, highly-motivated, detailed-oriented individual to add to our Sales Team. We are seeking applicants that are positive, hardworking and self-starters. Must be a team player and be able to deal with a fast-paced environment without getting flustered or stressed out. Outstanding people skills and a friendly demeanor with a background in working retail is a must! Applicant must be able to lift up to 50lbs and be on their feet all day. Hardware experience is a huge plus!
Responsibilities:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
Assess customer's needs and provide assistance and information on product features
Maintain in-stock and presentable condition to assigned areas
Actively seek out customers in store
Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
Cross sell products
Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
Build productive trust relationships with customers
