Bicycle Mechanic/ Retail Staff Person
Eugene Bicycle Works (EBW)
This position involves completing repairs on customer's bikes, reconditioning donated bicycles, managing the DIY Repair Space and serving customers of the CENTER FOR APPROPRIATE TRANSPORT (CAT).
CAT is looking for a motivated team player who wants to serve their community by providing quality used bikes and parts as well as a safe and open work space for people of all walks of life to learn how to maintain their bikes. Bike snobs need not apply.
Must have experience working on bikes and a good understanding of bike mechanics. Customer service experience and experience working with vulnerable communities preferred. Familiarity with stocking and good organization a must.
You will work directly with the EBW shop manager and CAT director to accomplish goals of EBW and CAT.
All staff within CAT are paid equally, and numerous volunteers, members, and donors help to achieve our mission.
