Job Title: General Mechanic/Welder

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Performs various welding activities using MIG welding applications working with steel and/or aluminum. Also, performs duties associated with in-house parts fabrication.

Prep and/or install various mechanical systems, mechanical equipment, or components including generators, air systems, steering systems, exhaust systems, heating systems, leveling systems, hydraulic systems, A/C components, furniture, and seating.

Install awnings.

Repair or replace damaged body panels.

Install or replace windows, wind shields, or sky lights.

Install back-up or side cameras.

Install acoustic sound proofing.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
