ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Lead Carpenter will be performing a variety of construction activities for clients in the Lane County area. Duties and responsibilities include:

-Constructing and remodeling kitchens, bathrooms and outdoor living spaces according to project requirements and specifications.

-Managing efficient use of the company's time, manpower and materials on each project.

-Safely handling materials and operating all equipment, including power tools.

-Communicating with the Project Manager.

-Interacting with homeowners and subcontractors.

-Inspecting delivered materials to ensure there are no defects or shortages

-Assisting Project Manager with preparing estimates, reports and requisitions.

-Supervising a crew of carpenters and subcontractors.

-Maintaining a high level of safety and quality.

Requirements

-High school diploma or equivalent

-7-10 years of general carpentry experience

-3-5 years of project management experience

-Demonstrated proficiency in construction and remodeling

-Ability to work 10- to 12-hour days at least 5 days a week, with potential for Saturday work

-Ability to lift at least 100 pounds

-Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

-Ability to problem solve

-Ability to work effectively in a team environment
