About this job:
Remote work opportunity with regular in person check-ins
Possibility for advancement to salaried full-time position
Pay per word based on experience starting at 6 to 8 cents per word
Each article you write that is published will feature your author byline
Optional: display links to your social media accounts in the author byline
The ideal candidate possesses:
Interest in the industry youre playing video games and familiar with gaming hardware, eSports, and the latest tech
Excellent English writing skills and attention to detail
1-2 years experience writing professionally desired but not required
Commitment to meet deadlines
English or Journalism degree desired but not required
Wordpress platform experience a plus
Must be willing to meet up at our Eugene office location on a regular basis
