Marketing Communications Associate /
Graphic Designer
The objective of this position is to fulfill clients marketing communication needs using creativity, talent and skills, including branding, brochures, cross media campaigns, web site development, digital marketing, and enewsletters.
The purpose of this position keep projects on schedule and to provide communication with the client regarding creative, proofing, pricing and scheduling of the web and print projects. Project manages and works internally with SmithBates marcomm team and with clients via email, conference call, webinars and in-house meetings.
Marketing Communications Duties and Responsibilities
Provide branding expertise and creative work with supervision
Designing and coordinating all integrated marketing communication activities and processes for clients
Meeting with clients and developing creative briefs for marcomm team
Coordinating and specifying production of a variety of marketing communications materials including web, print, digital and social media channels.
Assisting clients with marketing strategies and promotional campaigns
Developing content for direct mail and other marketing and promotional materials.
Tracking success rate and performance of on going promotional and social media campaigns and making the required changes for better effectiveness and also receiving feedbacks on these campaigns.
Creating client proposals
Assisting with billing function and time tracking
Working with sales and marketing team to boost client satisfaction and retention.
Marketing Communications Skills and Qualities
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products on MAC platform
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop)
Strong presentation and content management skills
Project management and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to work in a team under stressful deadlines
Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to represent the company in professional manner
Marketing Communications Education and Qualifications
A bachelors degree in marketing, graphic design, digital media or related field. Preferred experience agency experience.
Full time, Monday Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Benefits include paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, group health insurance and 401K retirement benefit with profit sharing. Wage depending on Experience. Some overtime required. Drug free workplace.
