Looking for experienced person to work in a legal practice as Bookkeeper/Admin/Accounting in Medford. This position we need someone who will manage financial accounting while supporting the administrative activities in this legal firm. Bookkeeper/Admin role is to maintain impeccable and timely financial billing, collections, reporting while supporting certain administrative affairs of the firm, always confidential and professional manner. The position will be tasked with exploiting reliable and sustainable processes that avoid energy-sapping bureaucracy, while maintaining minimum and reasonable business/administrative controls.

Will report to the company's managing partner, who will provide the oversight & project/task prioritization. Must have strong initiative, work independently, be flexible with regard to changing priorities, professional, takes pride in work, strong work ethic, and excellent with clients at all times.

Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping/Accounting-daily, weekly, monthly, annual accounting tasks, Prepare and review financial

statements and data. Cross train for all accounting roles.

Administrative Support-complete assist partners/support staff etc.

Best Practices-Improve/formulate processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Maintain process

manuals/desk documentation etc.

Human Resources-Complete delegated HR task functions, support elimination of "sole source" reliance on

personnel with effective cross training partnership.

Communication-Be an active listener that ensures effective communication between partners, support functions

and externally retained contract service providers (CPA, IT, etc.)

Project Management-At the direction of managing partner, complete various operational and administrative

project tasks.

Qualifications:

Degree in business administration/accounting/finance or equivalent education/experience.

Translatable prior professional office administration experience.

Knowledge and experience supporting organizational effectiveness and improvement.

Knowledge of business control and management principles/practices.

Knowledge of financial/accounting principles/practices.

Experience with law practice time keeping software and QuickBooks.

Experience with Payroll processing and related regulatory requirements.

Knowledge of HR principles/practices.

Knowledge of project management principles/practices.

Experience coordination information technology functions/support.

This position is Monday-Friday 8-5 and pay is DOE.

Must be able to pass criminal background checks, drug screen, and current reference checks.
