This Line Cook position is perfect for a culinarian with a great attitude, who works well (and fast) in a team environment, appreciates a spacious, well appointed kitchen, enjoys a fun work place and desires the OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN AND GROW.
Start at $15-17/hour, depending on experience, plus tips, with re-evaluation of basis considered after 30 days or at any time when mutually reasonable.

Callahan’s Mountain Lodge (family owned since 1947) is six miles north of the California border at the Mount Ashland Ski Resort Exit 6, just 10 minutes from Ashland, OR.
LINE COOK DUTIES
Prepare and present all hot and cold menu items including, but not limited to, salads, pastas, hot and cold appetizers, as well as sauté and grill items
Produce excellent quality food while respecting customer’s requests
Maintain well organized and clean work areas
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Food Handler's Certification
Knowledge of basic food preparation, materials and equipment
Insure that safe food handling procedures are followed
Ability to accurately and consistently prepare menu items
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Ability to work flexible schedule including evening, weekends and holidays
Dependable attendance
Current driver's license and reliable transportation
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED
Two years of commercial kitchen experience
Culinary Arts Education very desirable
