DUTIESMarket of Choice employees create a pleasant in-store atmosphere and provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service. As a Cheese Steward Manager some of your responsibilities will include:
Supervise, schedule, train & evaluate employees
Manage purchasing, merchandising & expense control
Assisting customers in selection and recommendations
Keeping current and continually expanding knowledge of cheese
Conduct events
Organizing, stocking and facing of the department
Monthly & Quarterly inventory
Checking in deliveries/ logging of all invoices daily
Enforce company policy & procedures
General cleaning and maintenance of sales area
QUALIFICATIONSCandidates will have an extensive knowledge of a wide variety of hand crafted and artisan cheeses from around the world, superior customer service skills and a strong sales ability including suggestive selling techniques. Applicants should have open availability and be willing to work evenings and weekends.
