Do you want to make a difference for local youth? PCL is currently hiring Direct Support Professionals in Jackson County to support youth with developmental/intellectual disabilities. Join our team!! Complete an interview and receive a $10 gift card! We are looking for a variety of people to work with us! No experience working in this field? No problem! We train you to do the job! As a Direct Support Professional you will support these children to live their lives and participate within their community. You may assist them with food preparation, personal health and hygiene needs, personal and household shopping, getting to and from school, and homework. Successful candidates will be ethical, patient, reliable, communicative, compassionate, able to work independently, and adaptable.

We are currently hiring for positions working with youth in Medford and Central Point. Open shifts include day, swing, awake overnight, weekends, and live-ins. Part-time, full-time, and flex positions are also available. Wages start at $15.00/hour. (Base wage is $13, plus a $1 location differential, and a $1 youth differential = $15 hourly).

In this job you will:
Be a positive role model for team members and others.
Help foster personal and community relationships.
Ensure health and safety in all aspects of support.
Perform personal care, medication administration, and follow all protocols put in place.
Maintain other set requirements.
You Must (requirements):
Be at least 18 years old.
Pass a pre-employment drug test for the use of illegal drugs.

Be able to regularly lift a minimum of 25lbs (some positions require more).
Possess a valid driver's license or state ID.(Click here for driver eligibility guide. )
Be able to attend a two week orientation located in Grants Pass (M-F, generally 8AM-5PM) however we may be flexible with prior communication.
