Excellent opportunity for a full-time, benefit eligible Referral Coordinator working Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Responsible for responding to requests for protected health information from various entities in accordance with state and federal laws. Some activities may include referrals, prior authorizations, tracking referral orders, sending out order requests, obtaining authorizations, and tracking status. Must be able to provide accurate information and courteous assistance to patients, insurance companies, and other staff through telephone and personal contact. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Medical office experience is preferred.
